Supporting Abilities Without Limits
SAWL Scholarship Fund
The Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL) Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for physically and/or intellectually disabled students in financially difficult circumstances.
We disburse about $200,000 to $250,000 worth of scholarships each year to students pursuing education at MOE secondary schools, Special Education schools, the Institute of Technical Education, junior colleges, polytechnics, or public universities in Singapore. We salute their courage and persistence in pursuing their education, through various challenges.
We are registered as a Charity with the Commissioner of Charities and hold Institute of Public Character status. This means donations are eligible for a 250% tax deduction i.e. 2.5 times the donated amount.
Our Patron is Ms Indranee Rajah (Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development).
